Dear Parents,

Welcome to Highland Christian School! Our preschool began in 1968, when Highland Covenant Church saw a need for a preschool on the Eastside, opening its doors to the community. We have since been serving children and families for over 45 years. We are blessed to have some of our early preschool students return as parents with their own kids and some are even on our staff today! Highland is proud of maintaining a strong preschool program that can serve families over generations.

We specialize our preschool classes for the social and intellectual development of every young child. Believing in the importance of learning through play, we balance this with the incorporation of programs such as "Handwritng Without Tears" and "Zoophonics" in each classroom. These diverse learning styles help children become life-long learners by introducing them to school in a positive way with topics in literacy, mathematics, and socialization, all while they play with friends.

In addition to educating students, we are here to support our parents. We understand parenthood is challenging with endless decisions to make. At Highland, we are here to listen and be a support to our families, offering resources and information for the benefit of their child.
